A Victorian-Style Salt Cellar with Cobalt Glass Liner – Footed

A charming late 19th–early 20th century silverplate salt cellar, richly ornamented in the Victorian taste. The rounded body is decorated with raised lobed panels and rests upon three stylized paw feet, each emerging from an embossed foliate cartouche. The underside shows beautifully detailed repoussé foliage consistent with quality continental or British manufacture of the period.
Inside rests the original deep cobalt glass liner, removable and intact, providing a striking contrast against the silvered exterior. See pictures for condition and dimensions.
